1. General Return Policy
At Model Domain, we specialize in premium scale models, limited collectibles, rare discontinued items, and sourcing services. Each product is carefully checked and prepared before dispatch.
For eligible online purchases, customers may contact us within 14 calendar days after receiving the item to request a return or cancellation, in accordance with applicable consumer protection rules.
2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the item must meet all conditions below:
- The item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition as received.
- All original packaging, certificates, accessories, protection materials, and labels must be included.
- The product must not have been assembled, modified, displayed, damaged, opened incorrectly, or altered by the customer.
- The return request must be submitted within the applicable return period.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return unless there is a proven authenticity issue or a confirmed major error caused by us:
- Custom-made, commissioned, or personalized models.
- Specially sourced rare or discontinued collectibles ordered upon request.
- Pre-order items after the sourcing or reservation process has started.
- Items damaged due to improper handling, assembly, display, storage, or return packaging.
- Products returned without original packaging, certificates, or accessories.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is caused by our confirmed mistake, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, customs charges, taxes, duties, insurance, and any related logistics fees.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. Model Domain is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or delayed during return shipping.
5. Refund Process
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify the customer whether the refund is approved or rejected.
If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Original shipping fees, payment processing fees, customs duties, taxes, and service-related costs may be deducted where permitted by applicable law.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If the product arrives damaged or incorrect, the customer must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos, videos, packaging images, and order details.
Please keep all packaging materials until the case is fully resolved.
7. Authenticity Issues
Model Domain takes authenticity seriously. If a customer believes there is an authenticity-related issue, clear supporting evidence must be provided.
If the authenticity issue is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer protection rules.
